Atlanta’s Science and Nature Experience with it 75 acres of outdoor and nature adventures. Fernbank Museum is excited to safely welcome visitors and has fun while learning from its amazing collections and exhibits.
COVID-19 Safety Procedures
- Face masks must be worn as per CDC guidelines
- All tickets must be purchased online
- Practice physical distancing
- Stay home if sick or experiencing flu-like symptoms
- Wash hands and use hand sanitizer
- No outside food allowed
- No Re-entry
CDC requires face masks regardless of the vaccination status and they can be purchased at the Box Office and Museum Store for $1.
Tickets
For everyone’s safety, tickets are issued in limited numbers, timed, and must be pre-purchased online.
General Admission is inclusive to all museum exhibits and outdoor activities such as the 75 acres of nature adventures in WildWoods and Fernbank Forest.
Tickets are non-refundable but transfers can be made in advance of the visit. Individual tickets for children ages 2 below are free when accompanied by an adult.

Fernbank Story

Sky High where you can discover Georgia’s exotic birds. This exhibit highlights specimens from Fernbank’s permanent collection.
Make sure to also visit their indoor exhibits such as the Fantastic Forces where you can experience science like no other. These activities highlight the science of rockets, tornadoes, and other scientific attributes.
NatureQuest is a unique experience that unleashes kids’ inner explorer souls, scientists, and adventurers because of its amazing displays and engaging encounters. It is a permanent exhibit in Fernbank perfect for family adventures. EZ Atlanta Junk Removal
Giants of the Mesozoic is the exhibit where you can role-play being a paleontologist as you examine the terrain and explore undiscovered buried as well as trace fossils of other plant and animal species.
They also have a forest where you can have a 2-mile walk of winding paths through Fernbank Forest. It offers a one-of-a-kind nature experience suitable for all ages.
